Howdy!
Sam grew up in Texas, the daughter of a pilot (dad) and a German immigrant entrepreneur and interior designer (mom). She credits her public speaking abilities to her mother’s fabulous skills as a story-teller and many years of high school debate team.
She loves the magical way humorous stories both disarm and soften us to see the world around us, for how it really is… beautiful, complex, hard, wonderful.
She lives in the lower Hudson Valley with her husband and two children. She collects hobbies: pretty much anything away from a computer and using her hands, which includes, but is not limited to: carpentry, whittling, gardening, knitting, sewing, embroidery, baking, cooking, guitar, singing, and installation art.
