Q. Does Sam do Author Visits?

A. Sam LOVES to visit with students and educators (or anyone!) in person or via zoom. Please reach out via the contact page with your location, time, budget and visit goals to get the conversation started. Topics can include fractured fairy tales, life as an author/illustrator, how to draw or write and many more. Sam has experience speaking to groups from individual classes to entire elementary schools and is comfortable tailoring her talk to various age groups.

Q. What is Sam working on?

A. Aside from a picture book she can’t announce yet, Sam is working on new story ideas and is hoping to make a graphic novel!

Q. Can I write or send something to Sam?

A. Yes! Visit the contact page for Sam’s PO Box info.

Q. I want a print of something I saw on Instagram, but it’s not in the shop. Can I order it?

A. Maybe! Reach out to Sam via the contact form with the image you’re wanting and the size you’re hoping for. All her illustrations are saved, but depending on the size, might not be available to print at every dimension. She’ll let you know more once you’ve reached out with some information.

Q. Where does Sam get ideas?

A. Sam loves exploring nature, people-watching (especially her kids) and dialoguing with her inner child to get ideas for stories or things to draw. She thinks the world is a magical place, if we just open our eyes a bit!
